Richard A. Wiklund, Jr., Founder and Managing Partner  

Mr. Wiklund is a serial entrepreneur who services in a joint role of Managing Partner for both AvideonCRM LLC and BenefitsApp Inc. Mr. Wiklund founded AvideonCRM in 1999 and leads the development of innovative technology-based sales and marketing solutions for AvideonCRM and its portfolio of hundreds of domestic and global clients. The AvideonCRM strategy uses Salesforce.com exclusively as the hub; Pardot for fully integrated email marketing; and Informatica Cloud or Jitterbit for data integration.

Wiklund founded BenefitsApp in 2019. BenefitsApp is a venture backed technology company that’s product is licensed by benefits brokers in need of a mobile strategy for benefits communication and management for their clients who are employers and their employees. BenefitsApp’s product is a Saleforce.com application developed and maintained by AvideonCRM. Mr. Wiklund serves as Managing Partner and CTO.

Prior to Avideon, Wiklund served as Vice President, Business Development for Cadmus Communications, where he developed websites, content management systems, and web-based subscription solutions for leading scientific, technical and medical publishers like Nature Magazine, John Wiley & Sons, and McGraw Hill’s award-winning Harrison’s Online Medical Encyclopedia.

Mr. Wiklund has served on the non-profit Board of Directors of Maryland Family Network (marylandfamilynetwork.org) and The Pride of Baltimore (www.pride2.org).

Peter Shay, Partner and Chief Operating Officer, Salesforce Architect 

Peter joined Avideon in Spring 2009. Peter manages the delivery of client projects starting with business process review through deployment of comprehensive Salesforce.com-based business systems.  Peter is responsible for AvideonCRM’s operations including deployment of project management resources, business process consultants, training resources and software development talent in support of client’s various needs and requirements. Notable projects include complex Salesforce.com solutions for clients like Armada Global, Wilmot, GOSV and Chesapeake Regional Information System for Our Patients (CRISP – the designated Health Information Exchange (HIE) in Maryland and the District of Columbia). Peter has also deployed complex Salesforce.org platforms for many non-profits include Oceana, SHRM and Sigma Phi Epsilon National Fraternity.

Prior to AvideonCRM, Mr. Shay was the North American Director of Professional Services, Sales and Solutions Engineering, and a member of the Corporate Strategic Planning Committee for Group 1 Software, a Pitney Bowes Company. Prior to Group 1, Mr. Shay held the role of National Consulting Practice Manager for Insight Consulting, a Software AG company Peter has native fluency in German, and has served as an Adjunct Professor – Loyola College, Sellinger School of Business & Management Course teaching Leading Organizational Change (MBA program, since 2005).
